Preparing Your Child To Start Preschool

August 27

No parent is ever ready for the day that their child goes off to preschool. But that doesn’t mean that your preschooler can’t be ready. Even if you’re nervous about the separation, you should do your best to make sure that your child is prepared to head off to preschool when the time is right. You want to do well as a parent and part of this means giving your child the tools to go off on his own, even if it’s just for a few hours at preschool. Why Music Is Important In Preschool

July 29

Would you believe that your preschooler inherently knows what is good for her? Maybe that’s not always true (after all, she’ll grab the tater tots over the spinach every single time) but in the case of loving music, she’s automatically right. Although it may be to varying degrees, almost all preschool children love music. Some naturally start to dance when they hear it. Others enjoy clapping along in a group with sing-song games. And many enjoy singing to themselves or with others. This love for music is natural, and it’s something that’s great for your child.

Arts & Crafts for Kids – Why is art important for Preschoolers

July 13
You know that arts and crafts are great for your kids. After all, they keep them entertained and occupied, sometimes for hours at a time despite their typically short attention spans. And they give you a focused activity that you can enjoy which frequently results in a product that you and your child can both be proud of. But did you know that arts and crafts aren’t just great distractions for your kids; art is actually very important to the healthy development of children who are preschool age.

You have no idea what to do. And the worst part is that the situation brings out all of your feelings of helplessness as you begin to realize that you are not going to be able to protect your child from the world.

You’ve decided to send your child to preschool but now your decision-making skills seem to be at a standstill. You want to make sure that the preschool that you choose is the right one for your child and there are just too many questions that come up for you to be able to feel confident that you are selecting the right school. Why Preschools Have Circle Time

May 24

Nearly every preschool program that there is has a circle time. This is the time when the entire class sits together in one large circle and engages in a group activity. It’s a fun time and something which most kids look forward to during their preschool days. But why is that all preschools have this circle time? Basically, circle time allows teachers to better manage their classrooms and teach broad topics to a large number of kids while allowing children to learn important social skills in the classroom.

Benefits of Children Attending Preschool

May 19

Whether or not to send a child to preschool can be one of the most difficult decisions that a parent makes in the early years of a child’s development. There are so many concerns to think about and issues to address.
