Here
are a few ideas for Physical Education for your Preschoolers.

Freeze
Call
out movements for your child to perform, such
as walk, skip, hop, jump, waddle, etc. When
you call "Freeze!" he/she must stop
immediately and hold the positions he/she
is in. |
Rolls
Teach
the child how to do "rolls" on a
mat. Have them begin in a sitting position
with their knees up. Have them roll sideways
down the mats holding their knees tightly
with their arms. |
Teaching
Child to Catch Ball
You
will need a Bean Bag or Ball
Have
child hold their hands out in front of them.
Toss a ball directly into their hands. Explain
that they can squeeze the ball once it’s
in their hands in order to keep it from
falling out. Have them throw the ball/bean
bag back to you. Move farther back each
time they catch it.

Note:
Never leave your child unattended. Use your own judgment
as to whether your child is ready for any of the above
